Magician Eric Giliam provides professional magical entertainment through out the state of Alaska as well as nationally. From small, private, home parties to large corporate events in hotel ballrooms, Eric can create a custom tailored magical show catered to the specific needs of the guests who attend your special event.  His entertainment primarily falls into two categories.

***Close-up / Walkaround***

Eric's close-up magic is a great icebreaker that encourages conversation between guests at private events. Close-up magic is "in your face" entertaining that happens just inches away and Eric is in direct contact with the guests.  It can be performed strolling or stationary just about anywhere. Types of functions where close-up magic is well received are cocktail parties, receptions, outdoor fairs, picnics, grand openings, birthday parties, library events, and trade shows.

***Group Variety Show***

Eric can perform a professional show in front of the whole group. It can be as simple as a private gathering in a home or it can be a full performance stage show for the main event. The stage show is choreographed and is accompanied with professional sound, lighting, and music in such venues as hotel ballrooms. Shows can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. Corporate functions and other events such as company parties, school shows, and performance theater shows are good examples of gatherings where a full stage show is popular.

Note that at some events Eric does only close-up/walkaround magic. At others he does only a full entertainment show.  But there are a number of parties that Eric does BOTH.  A good example is the typical company holiday party where he will do close-up during the cocktail hour at the beginning of the party and then do a full show after dinner for the main event.
