**Next Public Show--March 20 at the Performing Arts Center**

Eric grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and his passion for magic began when he was 14. A friend in high school did magic and he also saw David Copperfield perform live on stage. Eric was blown away by the magical illusions he saw and decided magic was going to be his life's passion.

Since then, his rise in magic has been amazing. He has traveled nationally as well as around the state of Alaska and has performed for numerous organizations, companies and private parties.

At age 15 he auditioned for and was selected to perform his stage act in the "Stars of Tomorrow" show at the Society of American Magicians annual Convention in Dallas, Texas.

At age 16 he auditioned for and was selected as one of the 14 semi-finalists world-wide to perform his stage act in the 2008 Lance Burton Teenage Stage Competition at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas. After the first round of performances, Eric was selected as one of 8 finalists. In the finals he won the talent award for the most creative and original stage act. (watch video)

At 17 he was chosen to perform as the headline act for the annual Alaska Magic Kids Holiday Show (9 shows) in his hometown of Anchorage.

That's how Eric started as a magic entertainer and today, this Anchorage magician continues to hone his skills in the art of magic and is busy creating even more spectacular illusions for his performances to contemporary audiences nationwide.

A member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Society of American Magicians, Eric has appeared in numerous newspaper and magazine articles. Contact Eric for your next special event.
